Oxford International AQA International GCSE Physics (9203)
Most of the subject content is common with and co-teachable with Oxford AQA International GCSE Combined Science (9204). Content that is only applicable to physics is indicated by P either next to the topic heading where it applies to the whole topic or immediately preceding each paragraph or bullet point as applicable.
Students are entered for Paper 1 and Paper 2.
Papers 1 and 2 are each marked out of 90. Each paper has a duration of 1 hour 30 minutes and is weighted at 50% each of the total IGCSE. Both examination papers contain a mixture of structured and open response questions.
The content is split into eight teaching topics:

• Topic 3: Waves
• Topic 4: Particle model of matter
• Topic 5: Electricity and magnetism
• Topic 6: Generating and distributing electricity for household use
• Topic 7: Nuclear physics
• Topic 8: Space physics
