Edexcel International AS Level Physics (YPH11)
Students are entered for three examinations for the IAS level, Units 1,2 and 3.
Unit 1 and Unit 2 have a duration of 1 hour 30 minutes and are marked out of 80. The papers may include multiple-choice, short open, open-response, calculations, and extended-writing questions.
Unit 3 has a duration of 1 hour 20 minutes and is marked out of 50. The paper may include short-open, open-response, calculations, and extended-writing questions.
The Unit 1 and 2 exams are worth 40% each of the International AS and 20% each of the International A level. Unit 3 is worth 20% and 10% respectively.
