Cambridge International AS Level Physics (9702)

Students are entered for three examinations for the IAS level, Papers 1,2 and 3.
Paper 1 has a duration of 1 hour 15 minutes and is marked out of 40. The paper is made up of 40 multiple-choice questions. It is worth 31% of the AS level qualification (and 15.5% of the A level).
Paper 2 has a duration of 1 hour 15 minutes and is marked out of 60. The paper is made up of structured questions and is worth 46% of the AS level qualification (and 23% of the A level).
Paper 3 has a duration of 2 hours and is marked out of 40. The paper is based on practical experimentation skills from the practical assessment section of the syllabus. This paper is worth 23% of the AS level qualification (and 11.5% of the A level).
